Can I use my own domain name?
The current Dealer Website concept is built around your inventory, your brand, and your domain. We’ll confirm the domain setup details with you as part of the launch process.
Do I have to upload my inventory separately to my website and BigEquipCo?
No. You manage your equipment in the Command Center, and that same inventory can power your Dealer Website and the applicable BigEquipCo marketplace properties.
Will my equipment also appear on BigEquipCo?
Yes, when applicable to your marketplace membership and equipment categories. The broader BigEquipCo model is built around managing inventory once and distributing it across the appropriate marketplace properties.
What other marketplaces can my inventory appear on?
The platform has been designed around BigEquipCo and specialized marketplace properties such as YellowEquipCo, BigTruckCo, and BigConcreteCo, with equipment routed to the appropriate properties based on category.
Do I have to manage each marketplace separately?
No. The intent is one inventory and one Command Center rather than separate feeds and separate inventory management for each marketplace.
Can customers search my equipment directly on my Dealer Website?
Yes. Searchable equipment and individual equipment pages are part of the Dealer Website model we have discussed.
Do I need a BigEquipCo Marketplace Membership to have a Dealer Website?
Yes. A BigEquipCo Marketplace Membership is required to use a Dealer Website. The two are separate memberships, so your Dealer Website subscription is in addition to your Marketplace Membership.
You do not need a Dealer Website to use the BigEquipCo Marketplace. Dealers can have a Marketplace Membership on its own and add a Dealer Website whenever they’re ready.
